Curtis M. Brown, Land Surveyor and Author

For those who want to tie a face to a name, here is a photo of Curtis M. Brown, author of "Boundary Control and Legal Principles" and co-author with Winfield H. Eldridge of "Evidence and Procedures for Boundary Location."

Mr. Brown, who graduated with honors in mining engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 1932, was a well-known surveyor, author, speaker, teacher, and active participant in professional societies.

This photograph was taken in the sixties at a surveyors' conference at Montana State College in Bozeman.
